My mission is for the wool industry to thrive by helping wool industry businesses communicate successfully online.
I consider myself a wool communicator and project accelerator. This means that I have many years of experience in communications and getting things done. I combine my knowledge with my passion for wool and the wool industry.
In other words, I develop and implement communication strategies together with wool industry business owners to support them in reaching their business goals via their website and suitable social media channels.
Being a small or medium sized enterprise you excel in the wool products and services you deliver. You know that promoting and communicating about what you do is important, but there never seem to be enough hours in the day to get it all done. At the same time the opportunities to promote your business seem to have increased with all what is possible online and on social media. With so many opportunities it makes it harder to decide what to focus on to reach your target audience.
This is where I come in. I can help you get crystal clear on how to reach your business goals by developing an online and social media communications strategy. But as strategy means nothing without implementation I also support you and your team in getting the results you aim for through content creation and engagement management.
I started working in the wool industry in 2011 when I joined the International Wool Textile Organisation (IWTO) as a Communications Manager. Only 8 months later I became the youngest first female Secretary General of IWTO. This was the time and place where I developed my passion for wool and where I met so many wonderful people in the business.
Before joining the wool industry I studied business communications and strategic fashion marketing in Berlin and London and worked for 3 years as a PR consultant in Duesseldorf helping international retail brands with their corporate communications.
In 2016 it was time for a change and I started this online and social media communications consulting business as well as the Wool Academy Podcast all dedicated to reaching your company’s full potential and contributing to the success of the wool industry.
